We’re excited to bring together leading biomedical and data scientists for an in-person, interactive C-BRAIN workshop in Copenhagen at AD/PD 2026, focused on hands-on evaluation of emerging AI tools for Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias (ADRD) discovery and translation.

The workshop is designed as a working session, convening participants who want to move beyond demonstrations and engage directly with tools. Participants will have the opportunity to test new open AI tool prototypes from C-BRAIN on real scientific questions, assess their scientific reliability, reasoning quality, and traceability, and provide concrete feedback that will help shape the next iteration of these tools. The workshop will also include time to brainstorm ADRD scientific questions and analytic challenges where AI could meaningfully add value.

The workshop will also include a keynote from Sean Mooney, Ph.D., Director of the NIH Center for Information Technology (CIT), on NIH’s AI strategy, providing context on how efforts like C-BRAIN fit within the broader NIH vision for trustworthy, data-driven AI in biomedical research.

    Join the Workshop

Participation is managed through a brief application process (approximately 5 minutes). Applications are reviewed and accepted on a rolling basis, so we encourage early submission to secure your spot.

    • While not required, we encourage applicants to share specific scientific questions or analytic tasks they wish to explore using C-BRAIN tools.

    • You do not need to be registered for AD/PD™ 2026 to attend this workshop.
